Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share my timeline in case others find it helpful. I am in Toronto and recently got the citizenship ceremony scheduled for November 2021.

Application received: May 28th 2020
AOR: October 29th, 2020
Background check complete: February 10th, 2021
Citizenship test set in progress: May 14th, 2021
Citizenship test schedule: May 21st, 2021
Citizenship test set to complete: May 21st, 2021
Physical presence, language, prohibition complete: August 4th, 2021
Citizenship Ceremony scheduled: August 6th, 2021
Citizenship Ceremony Date: November 19th, 2021

I was invited to take the citizenship test from August 13 through September 3rd. I took it and unofficially passed on August 14th, but the tracker says that they're still waiting on me to take the test. Is that expected? I just want to make sure I didn't forget to click a button somewhere and my testing window lapses September 3rd.

Its fine as its same for all soon after finishing test. It takes time. Soon that message will go away. Surely it wont be there after the test window period(i think) or after officer marks it as complete.
Test completion happens fast nowadays for most, so wait for this week on it.

Good for you. No movement for me. SO very frustrating. congrats.

I think it will be us until the bitter end! I hope we end up getting our test invites and oaths etc for the same day. I think that would be fun haha

I need to apply for my new UK passport soon so maybe once I get that I’ll email them the update and that might nudge them a bit. Wishful thinking probably!

Hello! Update from my end for family application from Vancouver. Scheduled for test Aug 6. Mine set to complete Aug 9. My spouse took it later and hers set to complete Aug16. Getting closer! Too bad we wont have citizenship for the elections :)

Could you please provide the date you received your test invite email and the date you took the test. Thank you.

I have the scheduled test on August 20 but still haven't received any email from my Vancouver office yet. Should I contact them?
