If no supplementary materials are notified, then you can rest assured to wait for final approval, usually 12 months at the latest, good luck

After almost 4 months from SA and PA...today received the DM...This may be an useful update for someone waiting in BCG for long time...

Application mailed on: Dec 2 / 2019
Application received by cic: Dec 9 /2019
AOR: Feb 6 / 2020

I already linked my PR and OWP applications to my online account. Anyone who mailed their application on Nov already got their OWP? How long does it take?

We are waiting on that too.

My time line is May 2019 applicant.

Medicals passed on October 9th.
Police Clearance Request for Sponsor: Feb 4
Submitted Feb 6.
Current stage: We are processing your background check since that time.
It is literally taking 1 year I think.

Hope for the best.

Wow. That’s crazy. How come it’s taking forever? I learnt it takes just one year. Are you in Canada? Have you done medicals?

Yes I did my medical since April last year. I applied for a open work permit also. Yes I am in Canada.

No I had to submit additional documents in June and now it’s at a finial decision and doing back ground check . When did you apply?
