Did you sent in your application via a consultant. How did you receive your work permit by mail ? Lucky you got yours.

Hi there I applied on May 28 2019 It’s going to be almost one year and today I called ircc just want to know the process and they said I am not eligible yet to sponsor my husband and the eligibility reviewing is still in process
I don’t understand what they were doing since May 2019
They said it can take more time because of this covid even it can take 6 more months I so stressed

my application applied on may 31 2019 .. sponsor approved 24 dec .. am waiting for aip nd dm .almost 5 months done after 24 december

They sent me correspondence on November 18, 2019.

Recieved OWP on the 7th of January and that was it

Guys bad news, they have stopped processing new applications, possibly for years! They dont want to touch paper sent to them.
They intend to implement paperless apps, but this can take years.
When did you applied ?

They have stopped non-essential visitor visas.. which makes sense since non-essential visitors are not allowed in anyway..
