Guys
After the hectic prep prior to ITA and AOR, suddenly feel there is nothing to do now!
Is there anything to figure out or be prepared for?
Feeling restless .. don’t know how to go through this wait![]()
I agree. Suddenly there is a void created and I am afraid till the time there is an update on MEP/BIL, this restlessness will continue.
I think we can make full use of our waiting time by learning the different migration stuff so we can be mentally prepared once we get PPR (hopefully!) and then we can easily decide where to land, rent a house, look for jobs easier. That is what I'm doing now, even watching all types of videos on youtube about Canada in relation to my target province. What to expect and what not to expect. A lot to digest in such a short period of time. I believe that after PPR everything will be hectic for all of us again with all the arrangements and preparation including resignation from work and all. Hence, I think the 4 to 5 month wait in between AOR and PPR should be used for this.
Do you guys have any other suggestions or topics you think I should research on?
That is a good start. I think the most difficult part is wait time from AOR to PPR since IRCC is not the best in terms of accurate status updates. Right now I am trying to search/learn different stages between these two milestones alongwith expected timelines. This might be helpful to lookout for whatever limited hints we get ( IP1, IP2 etc as people say) to avoid any misses like ADR. May be as and when the application progresses I will move onto the points you mentioned. Good luck !!
Btw guys, where do you guys plan to land or settle long term in Canada?
Please do share you plans. We might learn a thing or two from it.
Thank you!
I plan to land in Toronto because there are a lot of job opportunities. I will try to find some job in IT as soon as I land. Gain some Canadian experience, like a year or two and then move to some warmer place in British Columbia.
Thank you. What’s your plan?Yes, I heard here are alot of opportunities in Ontario in relation to IT jobs. Good luck!!!
Thank you. What’s your plan?
