yes i have done that, but does not work. for birth city/town on my application i wrote it as xxx, yyy and that is what i entered online but does not work.. does any one know how they entered their city/town ? does it have to be in xxx/yyy format or just xxx?

leave birth city and country blank. fill passport information. that should work

it probably says if not provided. i believe this is your AOR 2. when did u submit all required docs sch A, PCC & medical?

It might be AOR 2.

In my case, We didn't receive any e-mail, but today the application status is showing 'In Progress' on ECAS.

Hello friends , I was seeing guide and saw the options for choosing correct address and here what i saw.

Application for spouses, common-law partners or conjugal partners and dependent children (currently living outside Canada):
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

Note: Choose this option if your spouse or common-law partner is living in Canada with you, but doesn’t plan to stay in Canada while the application is being processed.

What this note means ?

My spouse is living outside Canada .I chose this address to send application . I am getting confused with 'NOTE' now. PLease explain.

To my understanding it seems you have choosen as she is living in Canada. Or, you might have given your address instead of her India address somewhere. I think what they are saying is, you can choose this CPC only if your wife is not living in Canada (even if she is now, she shouldn't be during the whole process).

been trying to link ours since the 19th, no luck

did you try to fill out schedule A? wont get validated..keep sying "no" under validated. is that a known issue?

after 2 week struggle, found a way (it worked for me), from the view submitted applications --> click on schedule a-->download and open it--> ensure that validated column is empty(do not validate until you complete all details)--> fill all the details,validate,save(ensure that validated says yes)--> donot close the pdf-->login to gc and upload it

in the above process , if you close and reopen pdf it will say validate no
if u send the downloaded copy ,it will never say validated yes.

Hope this helps(it seems like ,this form has security feature)

I too have email confirmation and the signature of the person who received the file. on May 11.

I called Canada post and now they started an enquiry on it,
Agents say , they can see nothing in the system ON MY UCI (Sponsor) and my spouse name.
One of the agent also said , they may have sent it back. I asked on it, dont they put a note on sponsor's UCI if any ? Yes for sure they do was the answer.

Now worry is , where is the file ?
If, it is misplaced or lost ?

If they send it back than they courier it via normal post/boo post. Just check with Canada post that how much time it takes to receive the file from Mississauga to Surrey in case of book post.

use this way
1. choose application # and Family name
2. Do not fill place of birth and county of birth leave both of them blank not even a space.
3. Fill passport information
4.fill the last part as in your application
5. # of applicants =2
try this, this worked for me.

Guess i linked the wrong app, the one that got linked was the inland app from 2016 that was withdrawn, the outland app from 2017 didnt get linked yet.

Whould like to ckeck if in gcc key request for PCC does it show multiple as standard or is it for individual cases only.
