You cannot do medical exam upfront. You should wait until they request one

I think you can do one upfront, but they are valid for a limited period, so they might have "expired" by the time CIC starts processing that part of the application.

yes i have done that, but does not work. for birth city/town on my application i wrote it as xxx, yyy and that is what i entered online but does not work.. does any one know how they entered their city/town ? does it have to be in xxx/yyy format or just xxx?

After December 7,2016 you don't send or do the medical exam until the embassy ask u to send it because it has just one year to be valid. After the year if ur app is still in process u have to get a new one if the embassy requires it. Someone who applied in April said that he attached the medical exam with the app because he got it in November and checking his status it said passed. I did the same with my app because I got it in November as well but couldn't send the app until may and my laywer didn't say anything. But u can start searching in the cic the information for the medical exam, u click in your country and it shows you all the doctors that the embassy has approved to do your exam.

What is ECAS? is it different from the GCKey? If so, how can I access it?

I saw in the spreadsheet that there is a column for ECAS in which status might say "In Process".

It actually gives more details bout your application than myCIC account.

Just want to share some information. I submitted the schedule A before i got SA approval through IRCC webform and the Ecas also showed status as submitted than your action is required. After the SA approval i recieved request for replacement of document through My Cic the very next day for Schedule A replacement as well as for digital photo for my husband. I believe we recieved the replacement for Schedule A because i sibmitted without hand signature through IRCC webform and as per their procedure either you submit through Ecas without hand signature if you recieve the request or you print the form after validating and then sign by the principal applicant then either submit through IRCC webform or mail them.
Regardless it did helped us to get Schedule A requested quickly.
We are now just waiting for the file to be transferred for NDVO.

Anybody else have a problem linking their application to their online account. Tried several times and am sure I have all the info correct and yet it will still not let us link them

been trying to link ours since the 19th, no luck

did you try to fill out schedule A? wont get validated..keep sying "no" under validated. is that a known issue?
