1. Not clearly understand but if you are asking how to link your application you can link it with UCI And Family Name option.
2. PA will have to attach Sch A and PCC. You can attach a scan copy of PCC no problem with that.

When did you lawyer get this email? Ask him exact date and time.

You are welcome .
You should Link your application with your Application Number And UCiI Number. Then log in to your account in GCkey and check if you have any upload to upload Sch A and PCC if yes then go ahead upload them.

First Search here:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do
Choose: Application Number / Case Number
Enter your application number (I believe it starts with F. Enter complete app number)
Enter the PA's Last name as same as you entered in your application
Enter the PA's Date of Birth
Choose the PA's Country of Birth

You shall also try with Sponsor's details. Let us know if you find it. Then, we can go head and link in your myCIC.
