I checked a couple days ago and see decision is made on the PA side. Now to be patient and wait for some correspondence :

Wow congrats! By any chance did you pay RPRF upfront? I'm trying to gauge how much of a different it makes for Ottawa applicants.

Yes we paid upfront. Personally I just figured it would delay things if they had to request things so we included everything upfront

Thanks muchly! What's the current thinking? ECAS is more accurate than MyCIC? On ECAS it has no updates since medical results received but just says decision made.

I'm not sure how much more accurate either system is, but I think both can be taken at face value. ECAS won't show anything other than received application, started processing, correspondence sent (if addl. docs were required), and then "Decision Made". I cannot use the myCIC system so not sure when it updates things. Based on what I've read it seems like neither are guaranteed to be updated - it's all over the place - and that your best bet is to wait for correspondence... although since you see DM I'm sure you can expect correspondence shortly.

Thanks! I think ours got hung up due to the document request and RPRF payment. Hopefully we hear soon.

Really?.. Good luck to us..i will keep you posted if there's any progress with regards to our application..

Based from DEC applicants, 9mos. from filed applications bago sila hiningan ng passport.. I didn't want to wait till next year

Just an update, MyCIC now states the application status is closed and the final decision is approved . ECAS still says final decision with the latest update as medical results received.

I'm guessing I now need to wait for the COPR in the mail as I'm visa free?

Difficult to believe until I have the letter in my hand...!

So happy for you Boris! That's great! Yes, your CoPR should be on its way in the mail.
