Well I emailed my representative and asked if he could give me a date range for when 'PPR' might arrive (well, DM/CoPR since hubby is visa exempt) after the RPRF payment, and his response is basically what I expected... The official wait time is still 14 months, and although cases are going through quicker in Ottawa, all we can do is wait for them to finalize it and who knows how long that will take. I guess it makes sense that he doesn't want to give me a number. He confirmed everything has been sent and was able to confirm the FBI was received.

I guess what I was hoping to hear that after RPRF it indicates finalization is the last step. It doesn't seem that clear-cut though.

I wish we could see myCIC!

Anyone else from May at CPC-Ottawa still waiting?

Just an update, MyCIC now states the application status is closed and the final decision is approved . ECAS still says final decision with the latest update as medical results received.

I'm guessing I now need to wait for the COPR in the mail as I'm visa free?

Your COPR won't just come straight away. You'll receive an email through E-cas from CIC saying that you'll receive some correspondence then you'll receive an email shortly after asking you to print it off. Being visa-exempt won't automatically grant you a COPR. The email you receive will ask you to send off 2 more photographs and a photocopy of your passport to the relevant visa office (if you're UK based it will be London). You also have to complete some questions for the basis of your PR card. Once you send all of this information to your local visa office you can expect your COPR (if all the information you supply is correct) within 1 to 4 weeks, mine came back in just over a week. Good luck.

Hope not but it was on june 2016 that they posted a notice in their webiste that they are working on processing applications faster. So meaning they just started working it faster.

A few days, maybe a week, that's how long I waited. Just check your emails religiously and your junk too. It helps if you've already added CIC to your address book so you know you won't miss it.

Hello po sa lahat,
Nag request ako ng notes para sa application ng asawa ko. Pero nag email sila na need daw ng asawa ko na mag sign ng consent para marelease ang informations nya sakin. Nag sign naman ang asawa ko at pinadala ko sa email nila ung document noong sept 2. Hanggang ngayon wala pa akong naririnig mula sa kanila at till sept 23 lang ang deadline namin para mag pasa ng document or else di na marelease sakin ung notes. Anong dapat kong gawin? Di ko kasi alam kung natanggap nila ung email ko.

I requested my husbands notes and they emailed me asking for my husband's consent. He emailed me the document and i forwarded it to the ATIP by email on sept 2. They gave me till 23 to email them. However, till now i still didn't hear anything from them. I am not sure if they received my email or not. What should I do?

Got my COPR in the mail today! Two copies, one has one of the photos I submitted with the application originally.

I received no email and I haven't had to send photos or a scan of my passport.

Off to the border tomorrow morning!

Hi Guys, yesterday My MyCIC got updated saying that background check is in process,before it was saying not started. but Eligibility is still in process as well.
Anyone know what that means?
Does everyone need to go through background check or I'm just the unlucky one?
