Phoned CIC. They advise we got SA on July 19.
They said they sent an email on July 20

No email ever received. He said phone back at end of week to request email be resent if I don't receive it this week.
That's a loooong routing time for an email that was supposedly sent. But whatever.
I still need the letter so I'll call at end of week. Checked Spam Trash etc. Not received.

BUt FINALLY we have SA as of July 19
Will update chart shortly.

Hi,

Did you call CIC and confirmed about your SA. I had submitted my file on May 26, a day after your file submission. So just wanted to know if you received SA or not. I am still waiting for SA.

Just called cic today and the agent said that he will forward a ff up letter to CPM for our SA ..hooray!! Well wait for the letter to confirm when was the exact date of our SA..

Called CIC just now, after a brief hold .... i was told that i met requirements to be a SPONSER on July 21 and that a request was put to see why an email confirmation was not sent out...

WHY NOT THEY SEND EMAILS

NO EMAIL CONFIRMATION FOR AOR1 AND SPONSER APPROVAL

Application received May 25
AOR1 June 14 (through ECAS)
Possible SA July 21 (through Call centre)
HOPEFULLY DELHI VO WILL SEND AOR2 LETTER/EMAIL SOON

FYI - I recieved AOR1 on email and sponsorship approval letter was mailed out. I recieved sponsorship approval mail today. CIC works in strange ways.

We were 67 days for SA, though we didn't find out until I called again on day 73.

Sponsor's side says they began processing on 13th July, PA side just says application received. Used to say medical results received but that has since been removed.

May I ask what the deadline is to land? Does it line up with the 1 year medical date? Does the CoPR even tell?

I am "the husband" Kathy is talking about. The deadline lines up with the 1 year medical date, or at least its very close. I had my med done in Dec 2015, and my landing deadline is Jan 2017.
