those of you who have already done an upfront medical do you suggest us getting a copy from the doctor as well? What are the things the doctor will give us once its over? and how do we use that same medical for visit visa purposes if my husband wants to apply for visit visa in the future (within a few months?)

can anyone also tell me if RPRF is paid if the amount paid initially to CIC was 1,040.00. I am asking because I was not the one who paid that amount, a family member paid it. I just got the receipt but it doesn't say on the receipt what was actually paid for. I am wondering if this RPRF was paid or not. Anyone know? I can ask the person that paid but right now they are asleep!

Yes, RPRF is included in $1040 which you initially paid.
When Upfront is done, the doctor will give you a letter/cetificate that needs to be sent with the application. The doctor will also send your medical results to CIC.
For future purposes, I am not really sure, but you can make copies of the letter that doctor gives you and use them. Also, there is a unique number on the medical letter (UMI in my case) that you can provide to CIC.

You are welcome.

But that's just a suggestion from me. He can also ask the doctor on how to re-use those medical results as long as they are not expired.

My eCAS status (PA side) has 2 lines:

1. Application received for PR on May 27th, 2016
2. Medical results have been received

My eCAS is not accessible from SA side...

What additional status updates i might expect on eCAS as line 3,4,5......

I know next would be SA letter and might get eCAS accessible from sponsor side

I am confused as some applicants mentioned they have 3 lines and medical results update is in 3rd line. Wonder if everything is fine....

Was able to access PA side but not on sponsors' side..

Application received: May 25, 2016..

Let's just hope and pray that they will process our application soon.. Patience is a virtue..

Same here - can access from PA side, not from sponsor side. Patiently waiting for sa approval. 35 days + since app received by CPCM

Got the email saying they received the application and a uci and application number. There is also a line about receiving the medical a. It's only been 22 but happy to see something happening.

It's 43 calendar days. You should call CIC and check in.

My app was received on 25th April . Yet to get SA MAIL or letter , but called cic and got to know it was approved on 14th June .
