hello! can anyone tell me when trying to link an application to an account does the info have to be about the primary applicant? when i try different information to enter for my husband (who is the PA) I can never get a result. anyone else in the same boat? We had got SA june 3rd and application evaluation had started may 30th.
Hi, yes it's the Primary Applican't information which you need to use to open the account and link their file.
The account should be opened in that person's name and info.
Then link needs very particular information which must match the information on the application.
For example the Number of people question - the answer is at least two, the applicant and the sponsor
This number must match the number which you put on the application where you added up the number of people covered by the application.
From the available selections for id you must provide, choose two which you can't make a mistake with, like passport number
and place of birth. the place of birth should be the same as listed in the application, the same as listed on the birth certificate
Don't write a long address including district and country and postal code for place of birth. write the name of the community as listed on the birth certificate.
Here's a link which I found helpful, a thread on linking the application
There's 19 pages in this thread so far so there's likely people there who have answered your questions.
