You're right that it sounds like a batch email, we received it, and there is a mass of people in the Ottawa thread saying they got it as well.

Hey guys,

I am starting to get rlly frustrated with this process. We are currently processed in Romania, where I submitted the CSQ they asked for about 5 weeks ago and we have not received any update. I am 6 months pregnant and most probably I will have to be alone at birth. How long after they receive the CSQ do they ask for the next step? I don't find it normal that they keep people apart, they didn't even approve of a visit visa for my husband, the process itself is just way to long. :'( :'( :'(

I got the batch email this morning as well.
So, if I sent everything in the package, it's okay to just wait, right?
Medical is expiring pretty soon, and I am not sure if I need to include intention to reside info.
Any thoughts??

I think it's better to reply than not - if everything is already done, maybe include one or two pieces of proof about residing in Canada (we sent a scans of a utility bill and T-4) and a point by point statement on the other stuff saying it's done.

Hey, we do have a very similar timeline! Have you received a generic email from the London VO? My file is being processed in Ottawa, and the latest consensus is that Ottawa applicants could expect DM after maybe ~2 months from receiving the batch email.

I suggest that you keep an eye on the London VO thread to see the latest processing trends. Also, you can always order GCMS notes on your file to see exactly what's going on.

My eCAS changed to "In Process" on August 6 and on or around August 25th eCAS added a line stating that they started processing my application on July 14, 2015, however, they messed up and didn't send me an SA letter until August 12. It also showed that medical results were received since my very first time logging into eCAS.

Let's hope that you hear something soon! I don't follow the London VO thread, so I don't know if or when London sends a batch email. The batch email is sort of a recent trend with Ottawa anyway. Keep us posted!

Starting to wonder how long our status will be updated. My wife and I live in Japan, and the Manila office has received all the applications, medical is done and received, police background check done, etc. They sent us a letter on August 27 to request more information about my (I'm the sponsor) intention to live in Canada when my wife moves there. We sent further information, including our itinerary, within 2 weeks (they requested we send within 45 days). It's been about 45 days since we sent the information, but there's no update on our status. It just says they sent the letter on August 27th and nothing after that. Current status is In Process. I'm curious if they update the status information when they receive further documents.

The Applicant's ECAS never seems to update anything other than received application, In Process, medical received, or decision made so I wouldn't expect an update about receiving new documents. 16 months is currently the 80% processed time for Manila so you are in the waiting period now. You can pay $5 and get the GCMS notes. Make sure to include your wife's consent form. It will take about 30 days and will show the CIC notes on your wife's file, but they might not show a lot yet as it is still early into the 16 months, but maybe you'll see something about if they think what you sent was acceptable and convincing.

Hello Everyone!
I've finally found the forum re May 2015 outland applications! I'm so happy.
I'm from Chile and I'm being sponsored by my Canadian husband :)
Who is updating the timeline spreadsheet for May apps? I would like to be included if possible!
We sent our app in May 5th
Our app was received in Miss on May 8th
Medicals done upfront.
AOR 1 received on June 9th
SA received on July 13th
App transferred to Mexico City VO on July 13th
AOR2 received on September 30th

My app status still says Application Received. I only have 2 lines, one that says app received on May 8th and that the medical results have been received.

Since the last letter (September 30th) I haven't heard anything else about my app!

Good luck to everyone!
