Welcome, csanti!csanti said:Hello Everyone!
I've finally found the forum re May 2015 outland applications! I'm so happy.
I'm from Chile and I'm being sponsored by my Canadian husband
Who is updating the timeline spreadsheet for May apps? I would like to be included if possible!
We sent our app in May 5th
Our app was received in Miss on May 8th
Medicals done upfront.
AOR 1 received on June 9th
SA received on July 13th
App transferred to Mexico City VO on July 13th
AOR2 received on September 30th
My app status still says Application Received. I only have 2 lines, one that says app received on May 8th and that the medical results have been received.
Since the last letter (September 30th) I haven't heard anything else about my app!
Good luck to everyone!
You are actually able to add yourself to the spreadsheet! (The link is in my signature at the bottom of my post.) Scroll to the bottom of it, and input your information they require. If you need help doing it, let me know and I will add you, but you can absolutely do it yourself if you want.
Hopefully you'll see your application status change to in progress, soon. Some people's ecas never changes to In Progress; sometimes it goes straight from Application Received to Decision Made. I'm not saying yours will do that, but ecas isn't always the most accurate way to see what the status of your application is.
If you're curious, you can order GCMS notes. GCMS notes are a digital copy of your entire file, including notes from CIC officers who review your case. You'll be able to see where they are with your application, what's been looked at, what happens, etc. They take 30 days to receive once you order them, and $5 if you're not currently in Canada. They'll be emailed to you, and you can review everything with the help of guides or others in the forum.
I'm hoping to get a copy of my GCMS notes this week to see where my application is. It keeps me sane!
Welcome and let us know if you have any more questions!
