No, I haven't yet. Both my husband and I are currently outside Canada. I finally found a phone number to call from outside Canada and decided to make a call if we won't receive anything by the end this week.

Hi...can you share that number with me? I'm living outside of Canada as well with my husband and bought a bunch of international phone credit to call CIC only to find their 1-888 number doesn't work outside of Canada ;(

Hi.... Still didn't heard anything from CIC about my AOR.. I'm 20 May applicants.. But I have a question. I didn't done yet my medical exams , is it the reason ? They will return me back my application?

No, they will request them if it comes to that. It's best to do them upfront though, if you can, get them in ASAP.

So, I decided to call CIC and the lady have told me the same - they have not started processing the applications received after May 11. I said, that the processing times supposed to be updated today, so the date will change. Yet she still declined to check the status and send me to check it online in my e-case.

And they've just updated the processing times. 55 days (working on May 19).

I called again after website update and the agent told me that we got SA and my file was transferred to Warsaw on July 13. However, he declined to resend an email, since we haven't received any, and told me, that my husband (sponsor) had to call and ask them to resend an email with SA. My husband called, got to another agent and she told him, that she won't send any emails to him. That the letter most likely was sent by regular mail and we should expect it around August 13.
This is really concerns me, because we need to send additional documents to Quebec and we need SA letter from Missisauga to do that. Any ideas what to do? Should we wait until August?
And why they decided to send a letter by mail, if we provided an email in all the application forms..

The only reason I wasn't worried this whole time was because on the CIC website, it mentions that they are still working on beginning May however, from the forums I am gathering that most May applicants have received AOR as well as SA and a lot of applicants from June have also received AOR.

Please tell me I'm going crazy and this is not the case? I was so positive about my application but now, I'm not so sure what to expect. Can anyone provide some insight on my situation or what steps I should take?

So your sponsor did not get an email from CIC, and he diligently kept checking his spam folder if he has one?

At this point you are only about a week away from when your sponsor should get SA, and if not then call CIC to ask after the website says they are working on applications on or after May 21.

I see now the processing site was updated and they are working on files received on May 19!

Hi zainy.. I'm also like you going crazy just like you. I'm 20 May applicants and we still didn't heard anything about my AOR. Maybe I didn't done my medical exams? I don't know .all May applicants are getting their SA .im really so happy for all .
I'm going to wait till next week,and then my sponser my husband will call them
