Thanks.I added both bank statements for my brother and myself. Other documents included letter of invitation, letter of purpose, university documents proving my enrollment, my part time employment letter, proof of relationship and brp card. My brother also added his pay slips and employment letter.

Did you apply in the new portal or old? I noticed It takes way too long from uk. Doesn't make sense for visitor visa to take 270 days to process it.

Yes, SOP written by applicant and invitation letter from person inviting you. In the SOP, you can highlight your purpose of visit and home ties to support your application. SOP is optional but I would recommend it to make your application stronger.You can find examples from Google.

Hey It usually takes a week.There are public holidays in pakistan right now so that is why it might delay 2 to 4 days. You will get your passport back anytime soon by next week :)

Yes that will be fine for rukhasti! And also make sure to write it in application.

Rukhasti does not always mean you have to have full function. I did not have reception or mehndi and still had a rukhasti without these functions. And I could not have my reception at the time so I told them I planned it in summer and they did not say anything to us.
