Can I check ECAS without an AoR?

We had our application received on the 25th of May and no AoR yet

You need your application number or client number in order for you to check the status of your application on ecas.

My application was recieved Nov,4 2014, sponsorship approval in February. Since then I have gotten zero updates. CIC website check online only says medical recieved application recieved. I call cic# and they cant tell me anything no AOR, no nothing.. I am so frustrated dont know what to do or what and when to expect anything.

This doesn't make any sense. If you've gotten sponsorship approval, you are already past the stage of waiting for AOR. You may want to find the November 2014 thread and see where other people are at. If you have passed all the approximated timelines on the CIC website, call them and ask for more information. If the first person can't help you, politely ask to speak to someone else. It may take a few tries but hopefully you can get in touch with someone that can give you some information.

This thread is intended for those who have had applications received by CIC in May 2015. Yours was November 2014. Your other posts are all in a Philippines thread which seems the best thread for you. But my quick answer is the Manila visa office has expected processing of 17 months after your SA in February so that would take it to July 2016by the time 80% of the applications have been completed in handling in Manila. 5 months is way too soon to be freaking out and sending them lots of emails.

you can find these numbers on your aor.. but you can try using your unique id number from your pr card. it will work if they already did enter your information on the sytem. you can locate that number on your pr its eight digits separated by a hyphen.

You probably don't have a client number yet. You would get it in the email you should receive (but not everyone seems to get it by email) after you get AOR. You can try the receipt number of the payment of the fee (after choosing Receipt Number in the Identification Type menu) but apparently this doesn't work for many people. I just checked and Receipt does not work for me but UCI client number worked after I got the AOR email.

Medical results have been received.

Just received a started processing on July 3rd and was wondering if people on here thought that was a good sign. I have noticed DM from people ranging anywhere from a few days to several months after status switches to "in process."

In October I was asked to provide information on if I could support myself as my wife is on ODSP/disability (Canadian citizen) and so I sent in my last 5 years of employment paperwork. I'm guessing this is why it has taken so much longer for my application.

I know it's just a waiting game but I'd love to hear if that's a good sign that the application will likely go through or just a status update.

Like I've said before, the previous update was staying there without changes for 2 weeks. I guess we should expect for an update only next Thursday.
My application was received on May 13. Yesterday was 57 days. No news at all so far. So difficult to wait...

It is not updated However some of the lucky applicants from May 6 and 8 have got Sponser Approval although on CIC website it says working on May 4 applications .
