UPDATE: My wife got a letter by email, saying that they are sending our money back, my wife freakout as the letter does not say anything else. She called and the agent told her that it was an overpayment and a refund will be made. also to let us know that the Sponsorship was approved and the paperwork was send to otawa.... So I guess I got my SA!!!!!!!

Congrats Nyc2canada... can you tell me what country are you from... why did they transfer your file to Ottawa and not your home country..

I was just wondering..why they send some files to Ottawa and others to applicant's home country..

When will the cic website weekly (timescale ) updated,they are doing till 4 may,so do you have any idea how many days they will extend ,I mean up to which date.

Generally it gets updated on every Tuesday, By following the previous trend it looks like this week will be at May 8 or May 11/12. Rest they are so unpredictable.

It will get updated by tomorrow afternoon (EST). Most of the times nowadays it gets updated by Wednesday's for some reason.

May 26 , still waiting on AOR , called the CIC , of course they cant tell me anything til its past the time for May 4th applicants.

Guys why don't you try checking your Ecas using your sponsor's uci number or payment reciept number in logging in at ECAS... I have a friend she didn't recieve an AOR but I told her try to check her Ecas ...gotcha!!! Her ecas was updated to in process and application recieved.....why not try?

Just a quick query as you got AOR on 6 May,and CIC processing applications till 4th May , I am very happy to hear that you recieved SA has your online status changed to decsion made in ECAS.
