Studying the spreadsheet it looks like lately the AOR is given very quickly (22/23 days).
So I'm waiting for the first post in this topic saying that someone got the AOR ;)

You can also look for the top left corner on the spreadsheet. There's the average time for aor and SA :D

Hi everyone!

I've been finding these forums really useful but haven't posted yet and thought I would introduce myself in this thread and follow it. I am sponsoring my US wife for PR in Canada. We just finally finished out application TODAY and sent it via courier to Mississauga! So I'll check that it was received probably constantly all day tomorrow and then I'll start the clock. :)

Welcome stardt. Hopefully it gets there today so you can just make it in time as a May 2015 sponsor/applicant. I was also in the last week of May so we get to watch, all things being equal, the earlier May applicants get results to get us excited about our own upcoming results.

Yep! I saw the same thing. The time taken has gone down quite a bit since January, where it averaged 60+ days. I'm hoping to hear someone post about AOR any day now! I saw nearly all the April applicants on the spreadsheet for 2015 have theirs, including those on April 30. They should be on to May any day now!

Come on, Mississauga office!

Thank you!
I tracked my package online and it was received this morning in Mississauga according to the courier! How do I get in on all this spreadsheet stuff?

PS does anyone feel like explaining what all of the acronyms mean? I think I generally understand many of them but it would be so nice to have them all laid out in a post that I could refer to. I want to make one of those signature thingies that you all have with your timeline on them too!

Our application was received & signed for on May 5, anxiously awaiting SOME sort of word back ;) not sure what is more stressful..application or waiting.

UPS misread my handwritting and wrote "family CRISIS sponsorship" so of course that's making me freak out ! hahaha

Go to the "General - All Canadian Immigration" forum and there is post pinned at the top which lists all the acronyms.
Not sure if this link will work, but: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/immigration-acronyms-t3007.0.html

Awesome, thank you!

Woohoo! Nothing on eCas yet.

Dear Destrike's Wife,

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2015/05/04

Wouldn't that be nice Chris ! ;)

Anyone hear anything yet?

Last I've saw an AOR being issued for March, April or May applicants was May 22 (according to a few spread sheets).

Come on, CIC! :P

Our application which arrived in Mississauga on May 8th got returned to me today. They said there is no proof of payment, but I put the receipt inside our application as they instructed. All of my documents are scattered and some are missing including the receipt of payment. I'm furious! This wasted a whole month of processing.
