MAY 2015 Spouse Application OUTLAND

hello all,

I am filing an sponsorship application for my wife, to give you the background, my wife is currently on a visitor visa to Canada and will be here till November, she will go then to india and may come back in 2 months if the decision on her application is not reached.

so for GenericApplication for Canada :

1) what should I put on her Residential Address ? Canada or India ?

2) also what should I put her as Current country of residence ?

3) Also there is a question on Sponser form - Are you living with someone ? - for this I have listed my wifes name as we are still living temporarily together ? is this correct? please advise.

Please advise folks , need some urgent help.

I mailed my application 26 of September 2014 and I got via mail they said to my sponsor you have met the requirement eligibility as sponsor but I'm not sure if I payed the right fees , I payed online 550 CAD , I did chose spouse in Canada class but I left the principal applicant (475 $) and per sponsorship application (75$) I didn't pay these ones please I need help is it right fees or what should I do , I think they will refuse the application

I would suggest both of you create new topics with these questions. This thread is supposed to be about Sponsors/Application who filed their applications in the month of May 2015, not September 2014 or general questions for future applications.

I'm trying to glean how soon after AOR most people see SA. Seems like some people in April are still waiting on SA . . .

They approved you even though you hadn't paid the 75$? That's strange because that is the application fee for the Sponsor portion of the application. Also, they won't refuse you for not having paid that amount, they will request the fees to you in writing.

I suggest you call CIC and ask them how much you owe them and if you could pay it online now? Since you applied in September you should have heard from them by now!

Seems those really fast AORs that people were seeing a month ago are also gone, as I'm already approaching 30+ days without a single peep from CIC.

Early April applicants started receiving SAs last week, and some Mid April [2nd Week] are starting to receive now.

Guessing by your time line, you should expect your SA in July first week as process seems to be starting to slow down than April.

The only piece of identification I have for ECAS is Receipt number, and it says it doesn't exist in their system, so I assume that means they haven't even opened my package yet.

I THINK it'll be mailed simply because they will not look at your documentation that contains your email address. (Can anyone confirm that?) The paperwork reads that information will be mailed unless an email address on the sponsor forms is indicated.

The current average for AOR is around a month based on the data we do have. My application was received on May 5, and I got the AOR email today. It's tough to wait, but it'll get there!

It gets emailed in most of the cases, ofcourse provided that the sponsor has given his/her email address.

Two more weeks before I can expect to hope for anything on ecas or an email announcing AOR.

There is so much finger-crossing in this process I will probably have arthritis in a few months.
