Guys,

I have a question about AOR. When you get the AOR, does it mean:

1. CIC received your application and it's acknowledging; or
2. CIC received your application, checked that the documents are OK (signatures, photos, forms, etc.), and it's acknowledging.

Something in the middle. Which means apparently it's ok. Now we will look deeper and if we need more info we will contact you.

I'm taking that back -- I can paint myself blue now!! I had a feeling since it takes time for e-cas to update. I even checked it before I went to bed last night but it wasn't updated yet.
This means my application is good right or are they just starting to check my files and other third-party clearances?

The important question is that will your application ever be returned after you receive the AOR?

I believe I haven't seen any application returned after AOR. Maybe just extra paperwork is required, but you'll be considered in the old residency rule. Am I right?
