I got a response from them like the 1st of July and I'm missing one document. I sent it to them last Friday and I haven't heard anything from them.. Hopefully I will next week

Was you notification through email or letter? And did you, sponsor, receive it?

We called our lawyer on Thursday to see if she had received any news from CIC on our behalf - nothing yet.

Have you guys checked out the processing times for stage 1? I checked yesterday (Friday) and they had updated to... same thing! They are *still* working on applications received on or before May 16th, so maybe there's a backlog?

Hey wait until monday, last week they didnt change anything until monday and thats when i got an email from them

Hmm, I don't know... It's pretty weird. The web page states the last update was on July 16th (Wednesday), whereas last week the most recent update day did not appear until Monday. ???

I think for the stats you need to get some number of posts! >20

Actually you need to have at least 10 posts. After that you can go into your profile and add the information.

Hi everyone! just a quick question, we submitted our application in Miss., ontario for outland spousal sponsorship last May 22. We had a copy of receipt from canada post that they already received our documents. Up to now, we have not heard anything from them Usually, how long it takes to get sponsor's approval? As what i've read from previous posts, they got theirs in a span 1 month. Just a bit worried.

I the Sponsor as well, received my Sponsorship Approval just 2 days ago, on July 18th. We sent it in on May 19th and they received it on May 22nd. I received it through email around lunch time! It was a good day haha

Nothing to worry about - CIC states 55 days on the website. But SA are taking a bit longer than that around 60ish days. If you don't hear anything from them, do give them a call.

Most likely they may have sent you an email and you probably never got it. ( This is the case with most applicants where CIC says they sent an email but applicants never got it ) - Hang in there and all the best to you .
