Spouse followed up today and was told that a realistic timeframe for us to receive confirmation would be first week of august because we had a form missing. They confirmed they received my missing document start of July.
He had such a hard time calling first coz the call centre agent was a noob and wouldn't give him info when he is the applicant.. He kept saying he is the applicant and she kept saying no I have to call. He was frustrated lol and vented. But yah hope to hear shortly on outcome.

Consider this. I also resubmitted a form (outdated or incomplete). My application received date changed from Mar 21 to May 14. So, I only got my SA when they started processing applications recv May 14. I got my SA last week on July 15.

One thing, I was out of the country and could not call the agents. I believe calling CIC does speed things sometimes. Call once a week I would suggest to you and others in the same situation.

Hi everybody,

I was trying to check my application status online. i was trying to fill in the sponsor's information but it did not work but when i tried P. Applicant's ( Sponsored Person's ) information it worked but it says we received your file on this date. And does not says anything else.
Is it normal..
And I Sponsorship letter it says I have met the requirement for eligibility as a sponsor. It means they approved the Sponsorship. As simple as it is.

JESUS who modified the spreadsheet? my eyes are burning sorry, i changed it back to plain white, it looks more neat. when a user from our thread will receive his visa, we'll colour his timeline (with a lighter shade though..)

I have not received my SA yet, CIC received our application on May 28th. I tried logging into ecas with my UCI (sponsor) and see the following under
'Application received' status.

Permanent Residence
We received xxxxxxxxxxx's application for permanent residence on May 28, 2014.

But I dont see 'medicals received' anywhere.

Will it be updated later when I get the SA?? any idea guys???
