2. Started proccesing my application march 12, 2015...

Medical asked on Dec 7

RPRF paid January 2015

PPR on March 12

I sincerely hope and wish everyone waiting get their PPR soon.

Hi... I don't think So... It is a mandate doc and if you have not submitted it previously, CIC gonna ask for it.... So it is nice that you have submitted it prior of demand from CIC... I think it would save your time.
Better way to verify it by GCMS notes...

I know the entire process takes lots of time... but be patient, its really varies from case to case.... don't compare your case with any others... Have faith... It will end up nicely

Thanks, that gives some relief... i know should not be looking into someone basket...human nature...trying to keep myself busy with other things....otherwise this final stage will drive me crazy....thanks again..

Nope..thats the only line added.. And it worries me coz i had my medicals last dec 2014 and still they havent updated it..

Today I received a PCC request from INDIA for my spouse. I have one question regarding about the validity.
- I got her PCC in Dec 03 2014 which is 3 months old - is this will be a valid PCC or need to go for another one..

Also what all other documents needs to be attached while sending her PCC

Please suggest....

Sent my passport today, tracking ID shows will arrive tomorrow. I live in Ottawa, I wish I can just stop by at their office and finish rest of the paper work ;D
Checked ECAS status this afternoon, it is now showing decision made.

Criminality check has to do with your criminal record. It will cover things like if you have been arrested or found guilty of something in the past in the countries where you have resided.

Security check has to do with your listing in some watch list by security or intelligence services (Canadian or otherwise). It will cover things like if you are on a no fly list, suspected of terrorist links etc.

I would think the security check would be more time consuming as the criminal record in most cases is covered under the Police Clearance Certificate but we DO NOT know what is the procedure or sources for the security check.

i heard this from many... nothing to worry.. they just wanna make sure you dont hv any criminal record at the time... not in all cases. they ask for pcc again.. its just VO"s precautions kind of thing...
