The only sure-shot way of finding out if your NOC Code and Job Duties match is to get GCMS notes (or passport request :) ). If your file has been assessed for job duties notes will mention if substantial number of job duties match the NOC code.
Thanks Simon, i hve already applied for notes few days back, hopefully will recieve them soon.

No, I haven't received the request. I paid my RPRF upfront though. I haven't heard anything since then.

Hello..

Paid my RPRF with out the request from CIC.. I have some question if I may ask. :)

.. When filling up the receipt, did u handwritten it? Or edited it on the computer?
... What do they mean by the client I.D? Is it the AOR number? Or the UCI? What ID are they referring to?

Thanks in advance

i Am mAy 30 applicant. i called cic today for my status and they said they are working on my background checks like security and criminality. I have a question to ask , if they are working on my background check, does it mean my eligibily is ok as i am concerned too about my noc code and duties. ANy suggestions??

When I called last 2 weeks ago they told me that my application is under background verification. Now, did they tell you that background verification means security and criminality? or is it your understanding? coz my application went for second review on Jan 13, 2015 and I called in on Feb 13, 2015. My understanding so far is that background verification would also mean validating the employment information.

Hi,
Can you share the phone no of CIC.

Regards

which number you called? and how to talk with call center spoc? means would be great if you could provide number and steps to get in touch with spoc.

Please paste the exact comments by the officer.

The notes are as follows "WORK EXPERIENCE: CEC qualifying period is from ****2011 to ****2014 Dates of authorized work experience within 'qualifying period' - in a skill level 0,A or B occupation. NOC: 1122 selected, Full Time QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE with ******. Employment letter dated ******* confirms dates of employment, Position title and salary of$** per hour. LOE/Supporting Doc do NOT appear to match lead statement and/or substantial number of main duties under NOC code selected. Both T4 and a NOA from 2013 shows reported earning of $**k.
PA APPEARS TO BE PERFORMING HIS DUTIES UNDER NOC 6552 - CALL CENTER AGENT. LANGUAGE: IELTS submitted - Applicant meets benchmark for work experience at this skill level: A. CRIMINALITY: No reportable trace. MEDICALS: PA:- Current medical status: NOT STARTED. RECOMMENDATION: REVIEW REQUIRED BY OFFICER".

If you check the information under NOC 1122 AND NOC 6552 they are not even close. My employment letter is VERY similar to the duties mentioned in 1122 (under which I've applied).

Please help! I'm very rattled now!

Should I send another updated employment letter? it was suggested to me but I don't see the point. It would be very similar to the one that I've already submitted. Some have said to send a comparative analysis but the AOR letter clearly says "DO NOT SEND ANY INFORMATION UNLESS REQUESTED".

I do not know what I should do! does anyone have the same problem?

Please share thanks!

Have your UCI and Application number ready. All you have to let them know is that "you applied under CEC class on _____ date and received your AOR on _____ day. you haven't heard back anything after that and your calling to get an update".

I just called CIC....Just to check if they received the RCMP documents i sent. He told me they received the something on Feb 10th and said there is nothing to worry in this regard and asked me to just wait for the remaining process.

He was a really patient and helpful guy, Its just the way he said "nothing to worry in regards to the RCMP request" makes me a little worried. Still holding off on the GCMS notes as I like to keep faith in the system/ process and we are still under the avg. processing time.

Anyways, lets hope for the best.

BTW i called about 30 mins ago and the wait time was 13 Mins or so.
