I applied on 12 May , AOR in June 20. I am waiting for my Passport request. IT is a bit delaying, as my medical were updated end of October. Do you know if many May applicants already receive passport request?
Is there any statistics available ?

I requested my GSM notes yesterday, for the first time, so I am not sure if things are ok or not. Do you think I can write to case processing office to ask for more details ?

Any advice will be appreciated ,

Thank you in advance !!!

My application says they got the medicals but it doesn't show that they have started processing my application.. What does it mean when it shows that they start processing the application ?

I have exactly the same situation.
My medical were updated on 28 October.(upfront) but I did not have ECAS processing status.
I know that they were checking my Police certificates. Did you asked GCSM notes ?

just call them.

Hi,

I applied from within Canada and got AOR on Mar 24th of 2014. Since then I have not heard ANYTHING from CIC. My online status just says "Application Recived". I applied for a Bridge Work Permit and even that is expiring now.

I tried calling CIC and no answer from anyone. Nobody picks up the phone. How can I find an update about my status? Should I just wait? Is it possible my medical has been lost in the mail?

What is also this GCMS you guys referring to?

Any help/comment would be really appreciated.

Hi, Friends.
How long it takes for next step after they received your requested RCMP after medical ?

No Idea, I called CIC today as I had submitted my medicals on 16th Dec and since then I don't have any update... After calling them they said that they are reviewing my file and will let me know if they need something from me.. Till then i have to wait...

Also one of my frend had submitted his medicals in mid Nov and he received his RPRF request on 17 feb so chances are we will receive it soon....

Any MR recently May applicants? Mine was received May 29th and nothing yet :(

Hi All,

I'm a May 2014 applicant. Application received at CIO on May 27, 2014 and AOR received on July 10, 2014.

I got GCMS notes and it is very troubling. I applied under NOC 1122 and submitted an employer letter that lists the duties and responsibilities. The letter greatly matched the information under the NOC code I've applied under. It matched 5 of the 6 duties performed, but the officer thinks otherwise and says that it does not match the one that I've applied under but thinks my job matched "NOC 6552 Call center agent" which DOES NOT match a single duty listed on my employment letter. I've shown this to many ppl and all of them are in agreement that the NOC 1122 that I've applied under is the best suited one.

I'm very rattled now and do not what to do. :(

I still don't understand why the officer thinks otherwise. Its sent for second review on Jan 13, 2015.

Please Advise.

i Am mAy 30 applicant. i called cic today for my status and they said they are working on my background checks like security and criminality. I have a question to ask , if they are working on my background check, does it mean my eligibily is ok as i am concerned too about my noc code and duties. ANy suggestions??

Hello! I am a September applicant but reading your thread to learn from you, folks. You were talking about job duties on the letter. My employer doesn't either want to put job duties on her letter. She just asked me to photocopy the job duties in our staff manual. And, that was what I did. Now, it worries me. Haizzz...My NOC is 4214.

The only sure-shot way of finding out if your NOC Code and Job Duties match is to get GCMS notes (or passport request :) ). If your file has been assessed for job duties notes will mention if substantial number of job duties match the NOC code.
