It's so good to hear that April applicants start getting requests. I was wondering when our turn will come. Some of the people who applied in March have already got their PRs. Great news!

Because my immigration lawer told me that your PCC may miss if you send now.
Let me know if this PCC is valid if I will submit now.

I was in the same situation as I had sent a scanned copy of my PCC and not original.. Now that U have AOR u can mail it to CIC mentioning your UCI and application #.. PCC is still valid.. They require it to be issued max 3 months before filing for PR so when they come to start processing your application the PCC is still valid. So go ahead and apply and it shouldn't be an issue since its valid for another 1 year like most PCCs I assume

Hi

I am starting this thread for those applying in May 2014 for their PR applications.

Good Luck!!

Guys is it a good idea to get medicals done before getting a request? And is it even possible to get it without the request from the immigration?

Thank you

1) Guys is it a good idea to get medicals done before getting a request? There is risk involved, what if your eligibility Fails , you will loose all money spent on Medical, but if all is right it is good idea to do MR upfront . (some people apply for GCMS note, and if in that VO mentioned Appear to meet elgb.) Then 100 % you can go for MR upfront
2) is it even possible to get it without the request from the immigration? Yes t is possible , visit panen dr near to your location and tell them you are hear for Upfront medical for PR. I will suggest visit any dr e-medical enabled (result upload will be fast)

See my ans in Blue

Hope this will help you
Good Luck

Thank you very much for the info above !! :)
How long does it usually take to get the e-medical results once once you do the exam? if it is a week or so I think I will just wait, as long as there are no long wait times to get the appointments for the exam :-\

Any May applicant got medical request? I am wondering why there are no medical request so far for May applicants..

I am an August applicant but curious to know what is the difference between 'Application recieved' and 'In-Process". Many May applicants have either status on the spreadsheet. Much appreciate the response.

Thanks

From May 1st applicants started seeing the status as In process at the first place, but when we click on it, it shows same details as we see after the AOR.
More detailed view -->
