Hi everyone,

I looked at the excel sheet. Most people have status "Application Received", while a few have "In Process".

What is the difference? Does "In Process" indicate a later stage than "Application Received"?

"IN PROCESS" is actually the status on ECAS and "APPLICATION RECEIVED" is the explanation of the status.

Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.
Since you are in Edmonton - the Visa Office should CPC-Ottawa.

Sometimes it helps to read a little bit.

Is there anyone here who has still not received their AOR from May Applications? Was there anyone who received it much later than regular? Like was there anyone who received it much later than when the cc was charged?

Anyone getting any notification from CIC regarding Medical's.
How much time it would usually take from AOR to medicals.

It's very unlikely someone who submitted in May has received MR request at this point.
We should expect the first batch probably in December. Considering CIC works at a steady pace.

anybody from may 2014 had received a request for police check or finger prints of the countries that we dont needed to submited at the biggining of the aplication?

Im still waiting for they to ask me for my finger prints so they so I can sent it to the embassy in Mexico and they ask my goverment about me!

please keep posting any change guys!!

I would like to know that too. Didnt hear from cic since I got my aor. When can we expect police check request, or MR?

It will be probably starting October 2014 or November 2014.
December 2014 we should be getting some MR.
Keeping my fingers crossed and staying positive.
