Do they send the medical request via email? If all other contact has been by email? Also, what is a GCMS note?!

Hi May Applicants!

I have applied for PR for myself(Principle Applicant) and wife in CEC in the month of May. My wife has just renewed her passport by adding my name and new address in it. Basically, she has a new passport now.

I want to know how I can inform this to CIC? Can I email scanned copies to CIC or I have to send photocopies by physical mail?

As far as I know, they send it through Email. Check your Spam folder too. A friend of mine receive it in his Yahoo Spam folder!

A response for my application is way overdue and I am now quite certain that it has gone for an additional review. Not a complete surprise, since my employer had refused to provide a detailed work experience letter (any letter for that matter) so maybe that did not go well with the officer who looked at my case.

For an application undergoing additional review, does its probability of passing through smoothly (other than the delay) significantly drop? Does anyone know?
Typically how much additional time (days/weeks/months) does it take for a typical 'additional review'?

You should try and get some sort of letter from someone as my original application was refused as they wasn't happy with the letter I originally supplied. They wanted a very detailed letter. Which they didn't tell me before refusing me bearing in mine that they told me after waiting for 7 months.

i am still waiting on it. i got AOR on 11 july . it makes me feel stressed when i see people already received MR who got AOR after or around the same time. Waiting to hear the news soon!! Dont wish it goes for a second review as it take ages for them to process and render any decison.

Yeah I hate the wait also. But that's all we can do. I ordered my gcms notes on January 15.
