I did my medical exam today too, in Vancouver

Agree with Banchos, it was a really quick process.

Are any of you guys going to pay upfront RFPR after doing your medicals, or wait for word from CIC?

June applicant in Vancouver here, can you share where you did the medical exam and the cost?

I also received a letter requesting my wife to provide a RCMP Criminal record check. I am a bit confused, could someone suggest were to go for electronic fingerprints in Toronto? Paper seems to take forever. Thanks in advance

Check mail content , you will find detail there , different agency are there to do RCMP

I renewed my son passport and informed CIC via email. Otherwise. There could be issue when CIC will raise a passport request for PPR. Passport should valid more than 6 months when PPR request.

Is it necessary to inform CIC ? if we renew our passport ?? Any reference where did they mention that we need to inform CIC ?

Via Mail (Post only)

Once you will go for RCMP . Officer will give you two options:
1) You want RCMP result at your address
2) Or you want to deliver it to CIC address. (mentioned in email body)

I opted for option 1) and couriered via FedEx to CIC

Hi guys,

I'm a little late to the game, but here are my particulars.

My application was received by CIC on May 13, 2014
No idea when the AOR was issued [my lawyer never forwarded this information to me]
Medical request - December 17, 2014
Medicals done - January 8, 2014 [I just called the Doctor's office today and they still haven't submitted the results, apparently waiting on a test result. Frustrating stuff!]

So I guess now I [continue to] play the waiting game?

Turns out, I'm terrible at the waiting game. After a passive beginning, leaving things in my lawyers hands, I've become somewhat obsessed with this forum. Incredible reservoir of information!

So here is a question - My ECAS currently just has one bullet point under it - "We received your ....". What are the other updates I can expect to see here?

Hey exmortis, from what I remember you will see:

We received your application on .......

We started processing your application on .......

Medical results received

A decision has been made. Our office will contact you regarding this decision

I was also terrible at the waiting game. It took forever for my status to change to "We started processing your application" but things seemed to move slightly more than glacial pace after that!

Took me about 10 months from start to finish but every case is different, just try and be patient. Not easy I know from personal experience. Good luck mate

Since I am in India so I don't know how to get RCMP. I will appreciate if any one can guide me on this.

i am on the same boat buddy. i got AOR on 11 july and still waiting to hear from CIC. hopefully we hear from them soon. Keep us posted if you hear anything. Good Luck!

Did you submit original employment reference letter with your role and responsibilities. I am seeing proplem s with those who didn't submitted original letter
