Congrats pablo_cv4. Good to see its moving in the right direction for you. I am in the same boat as you - I have yet to submit my PCC to CIC and waiting for something from their side. Can you let me know how much time they have given you for submitting PCC?

Thanks!

60 days they said.

Mexicans we don't need to provide PCC on the initial application, they will ask us to send our finger prints to the embassy in mexico for a police check when they need us to do it. They do all the paper work for us. Maybe they have an agreement with mexico about that.

Ok, I got it. thanks for the information.

I did medical on December 9th and doctor submitted on 20th Dec.

No update on Ecas, then today I got the confirmation letter from my doctor stating that he has submitted on 20th December with some other details and sent an email informing CIC regarding this to let them know I did the exam in the 30 days period.

Let's see.

Got MR today! :D

I was actually surprised, I thought it was going to arrive until after they got my PCC.

I'm in the Ottawa area, any suggestions for a doctor here?

Hi Pablo! Congratulations! No idea for the doctor because I live in Toronto. When did CIC receive your documents? I do not see your information in the spreadsheet. It's so good to know that CIC actually remembered about CEC applicants.

Thanks! I'm from May 26, and I'm on row 53 of spreadsheet.

After one month from the time doctor uploaded the results to CIC, today my Ecas changed to "medical received".

Good news. From the flurry of activity (I guess you can call one update and one MR that with the way things were going previously), it seems that they are back from vacation and working on our applications now. Let's see who will be the first one to get passport request from all of us that have submitted medicals and paid RPRF
