Hello All,

This thread is created for all those that have or will be mailing out their sponsorship documents this month. I have created this for outland applicants only so we can keep in touch and give everyone updates as to the status of our files.

I submitted mine without FBI clearance but have attached the payment receipt and a note saying we will mail the official as soon as we can. Hopefully this doesn't cause a delay!

Good luck to you all! :)

We approved for the Sponsorship today. The letter said that they will forwarded it to Philippines.

Dear xxxx xxxx:

We have received your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Family class on
04/30/2013 and have created a file with the file number indicated above.
Note: The application received date is in mm/dd/yyyy format. Please quote this file number in
all future correspondence with our office.
Canada has a carefully managed and controlled immigration program that is committed to
maintaining a balance of 60% economic immigrants and 40% non-economic immigrants (family
class, refugees, and those in need of protection). Amongst non-economic immigrants, priority is
given to spouses/partners and dependent children.
In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the
following as soon as possible:

• Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in
Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.

• Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period
of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.

• Submission of original passport along with any old expired passports for you and your
accompanying family members. The picture in the passport for a child under 6 years
of age must have been taken within the last 3 years. The picture in the passport for a
child between the ages of 7 and 18 must have been taken within the last 5 years.
Please note that a request for your passport(s) at this time is not a guarantee of visa
issuance. Passports are requested so that we can hold them on your file and issue your
visas as soon as possible after all requirements have been met.

PLEASE RETURN A COPY OF THIS LETTER WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS.
Documents and passports must be submitted in a SINGLE package. Do not submit any
documents and passports until you have prepared the entire package.

what is landing fee? is it the fee my sponsor already paid when he submitted our application he paid $550.

Landing fee is different to fees you paid u have to pay $490 its called RPRF means right of permanant resident fee... Ask your representative on how to pay it... Then after you pay it you get receipts which u have to send one to CIC in missisuage and one you should send to delhi with your passport so they can confirm it that you have paid the fees... Any other question if you have, feel free to ask okay??? Hope this helps :-)...

Thanks dear my sponsor is going to call our representative today.

my question is as we didn't pay it earlier is it gonna slow down our application now as we are going to pay now?

If it is going to slow down application process how much extra time its gonna take?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this thread but I am in the Havana, Cuba thread though. I received a call from my wife yesterday and she said that the embassy called her on Monday and they said that I have to pay for the landing fee. My representative is going to send the proof of payment by email once again to the embassy. Does anybody have an idea how close we are to getting the PRV. And can anybody tell me what the last steps for my wife to complete before she gets on the plane to come to Alberta? Can you please add me to the spreadsheet. Good luck and God bless everybody. ;D

VOs @ New Delhi are on strike as you may be aware of, and this may the reason.

I think that they do return the payment. It might take a while, but they might return it. I'm not entirely sure though.
Good luck,

Hi Sweden, please help me with this...Do I still need to accomplish these aside from the NBI that we get here in Manila?

Do we need to includes these downloadable forms in our application or is it already the NBI clearance that we have?

Do we need to have a form to include with all our fingerprints are on them?

Thanks a lot...

abscott

" A completed Request for Police Certificates/Clearances and Authorization for Release of Information form (see Appendix A). Include photocopies for each applicant.
A set of fingerprints, if required by the authority of the country. Your local police or RCMP may be able to tell you where you can get fingerprints done. Take the Fingerprint Request Letter (see Appendix B) and your photo identification (passport, travel document, etc.) with you when you go to get fingerprints taken. You may have to pay a fee.
Your complete mailing address (certificates will be sent directly to you).

Hi...just wan't to ask, about the "Request for Police Certificates/Clearances and Authorization for Release of Information", does the immigration officer have to sign the request? thanks...
