Managed to re-send my application, here's what my timeline looks like now

Meds done: 5th March
App sent: 2nd May
App Rcvd: 6th May
App Returned: For being Incomplete to hubbys address on 3rd June, letter dated 16th may.
App re-sent: 17th June
App Rcvd: 20th June.

Now again...fingers crossed!

you need to have your UCI number. UCI can be found in the AOR that they sent you or your representative

I'm not sure where you're quoting that from, and if it's in the regional guideline for Manila, then it's best to ask in one of the threads for Manila applicants. There is one in english, and a few in tagalog.

Hi Sweden, my hubby will pay the fees in Canada, which will he click on payment of fees-outside or inside Canada?our application is outland since I'm here in the Philippines isn't it? but he will pay the fees there. Am I right that he should click on the payment of fees- from inside Canada because he is paying there?

I don't think it really matters. Biejing and HK have similar timeline ( Beijing 9, HK 10) so it won't really make a difference in the processing time.
Since you won't be in Shangai anymore, if you were asked for an interview, you would have to fly anyway - so go to Canada, and wait... if you get asked for an interview, you will go to Beijing instead of HK. Once you're in Canada, you can update your mailing address to the Canadian one. You will have to send your passport to the office, and they will send it back.

If it was the wrong VO ( let's say they sent your file to London, or Cairo) then you should contact them. If they have determined that you have more links to the region pertaining to Beijing office, then it's their right to send your file there.

Sweden please help me with this before I do the final encoding...

My 23 y/o son is enrolled now in a 1yr course at Canadian Hotel & Tourism Institute. We included him to be accompanying to Canada wand we'll pay $550 for him. Under what dependent type will I include him?

If ever he won't be granted a visa, will it affect mine and my youngest son's visa too or my husband's sponsorship as a whole?What I mean is that if my my husband's sponsorship was approved and one of us is denied for example my eldest son because he's just enrolled now, will all of us be denied?

What's the best that we should do about this?My husband is ready to pay the $1740 for all of us...

Two possibilities:
1. CIC lost or didn't find some of the documents in your application, and is now claiming that you didn't send them.
2. Your lawyer didn't include some of the documents in your application because your lawyer isn't competent.

I would say they are equally likely, and of course they are not mutually exclusive - both could be true!

I received communication from New Delhi Office with a file number and UCI and they have requested passport Landing Fees and Passport as of June 21, 2013. Can someone please update my file?

Yes - In Canada as the application will go first to Mississauga. so that's correct.

I'm not sure that you can include him as a dependent. I thnk dependent have to be under 22 years old ( or they changed to 18 now? check on CIC website), and they have to have been studying since they turned 18 - so I don't think that your son qualifies as a dependent.
But no - I don't think that it will affect your visa. It might delay it a bit, because they will have to assess him, but you won't be refused because your older son doesn't qualify as a dependent.

Edit : here is the definition of dependent according to CIC:

Dependent children

A son or daughter is dependent when the child:

is under the age of 22 and does not have a spouse or common-law partner;
is over the age of 22 and has been continuously enrolled as a full-time student and depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22;
became a spouse or a common-law partner before the age of 22 and has been continuously enrolled as a full-time student and depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since becoming a spouse or common-law partner, or
is over the age of 22 and depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 because of a physical or mental condition.

so if you child had been studying full time for the last few years, he would qualify. If he is only enrolled this year only, it won't be enough. You would have to prove that he has been a full time student before the age of 22.

I wouldn't include him as he doesn't qualify. but it's your choice.
