Which form? Citizenship application or RQ?

In RQ, they will mention the 4 years time period prior to your application date.

Thank you very much I just saw it ....

The form says 4 years prior and the same time.. since your arrival date... what did you do about that? Like I have been here for 5 years now .. I thank you for replying to my request

If a question asks you about that then you have to cover the specified period otherwise you have to cover at least 4 years prior to your signed date.

May 2013 applicants: Any updates from CIC?

Great news Randypandy! It seems that they are processing RQs faster than before. Good luck for the test. I did mine on Dec 23 and I am waiting for the next communication from them.

Thanks hanisaf

can you share your test experiences or any specific thing that we need to take care with your recent experience.

My test is scheduled at Scarborough. ON

Randy

Sure, I already posted before in this thread but anyway here is the info:

The questions were straightforward and taken directly from "Discover Canada" guide. I scored 20/20. After the exam, I met with a CIC agent who went over my documents and passports and asked me some general questions about my stay in Canada and travel outside.

He asked for previous passports, PR card and COPR, and two IDs. I have however brought many other documents with me including university transcripts, proof of employment, utility bills and leases. During the interview, I was asked about my employment during my stay in Canada so I presented the proof of employment to the agent who examined it and add it to my file. Apart from that, he did not ask for any other document but I think being prepared is better than getting any request for more documents after the interview.

Afterwards he told me that all looks good but the file has to be approved by a judge. Once approved, I should get my oath appointment within three months.

Congrats Randy.

I wonder what processing date really means. My processing started in April 3rd and in Sept application moved to Scarborough, since then nothing changed in on-line status :(

Hi Randy - This is excellent news. I am very happy for you. Your RQ processing at the Scarborough office was noticeably fast. Good luck with the test preparation, I know you will do just fine.

You probably won't see an online status update until your test is scheduled. You can always call the call center to get up-to-date status, if there is any.
