Simkr, my application was received on May 27, 2013 as well and I still don't see anything in eCas. Hopefully next week. Hope that's some consolation for you

This is strange that mine started earlier than yours. May be, yours are in a different lot than mine for online update. By the way, I kept checking the status everyday since last Tuesday. Finally it showed up today. Anyway, hope your status will be updated very soon.

I have applied in May as well and was trying to check status on e-cas but was unable to.
Which number did you use under the 'Identification type' option in e-cas. I have tried the 'Receipt Number' option but cannot gain access.
Or the access to e-cas is available only after one receives the acknowledgement letter?
And in that letter there is a 'file number' which is used to access e-cas?

I use my client ID from PR card which is in the format of XXXX-XXXX and be able to see the status on e-cas already. When in May did you send the application?

I guarantee you that you will not laugh for too long . Once all the applications become "in process", everyone will go to long sleep and wake up until they either receive a notification with test date or a RQ [who wants that?].
