Simkr: I am getting very confused with CIC's working process as people applied before me are still not in process. I cann't think of any reason. Do you?

chandu007: I have no idea why is so much discrepancy in processing application. My application should be very straight forward (i guess i am wrong) as i have continuous job (even i attached my job offer letter). i am living the same address for many years. only weak part in my application can be language proof as i submitted my diploma (outside of Canada) to support evidence. in addition to that i also attached an explanation of some of my duties (teaching, supervision, etch), which i have to perform under current job. i had no problem in getting PR (which i applied after coming to Canada).

Simkr: I am not too sure about CIC's acceptance of your language proofs. But, lets see. Based on CIC call center's timeline, there is still time. May be CIC choose to give me a RQ and for that reason they started processing my application early. Who knows!

Simkr, don't worry. I sent mine on May 16th and there is still nothing for me either. I am guessing, they should have received my application on May 23 or 24.

Dont worry Simkr, your will get though the initial snag... they are processing all may Application.

gta-local, I sent it via regular canada Post without tracking. Will have to wait and see another week or two to see if it was a stupid idea.

Does anyone know, if CIC returns application because of photo requirements are not met, at what stage of application process they do that?
