BTW, you can always travel back home. There should not be any trouble if the travel duration is quite reasonable.

I could not agree more. Strange things always happen and with CIC it's very difficult and time consuming to deal with such thing.

I think expecting any movement on your file when you applied less than 8 months ago is very optimistic. It looks like local offices have slowed down processing since Feb 11 oath date files. It's pointless to ask folks like Farrous who are further in the queue than you since they are on a different timeline. My opinion though, just going by the law of averages. Stranger things have happened with files - you never know.

Finally an update.

A newborn has joined our family ;D Very thrilled. He is Canadian. He beat me big time. His citizenship application took only 38 weeks and 5 days

Nothing from the CIC.

What a blessed feeling when you have your first kid , Very happy for you and that is why we came to canada to build an easier future for our beloved kids

Thanks Woodex. I wish you are right but my current situation does not say that. I will have to resubmit RQ and supporting documents since CIC can't find it. The interesting part is that some one signed for the express mail at delivery.
