yes they see receipt of RQ in their system, if she told you she cant see its not right. I called yesterday and Guy on the CIC side told me exactly same date it was delivered via expresspost signed delivery. so yea they have RQ issuance and reception date infront of them if they wana read it for you.chandu007 said:I talked to the call center, but the lady gave me a calculation of 36 months.. Hey I am a May 2013 applicant new to the forum. My time line for Hamilton office is below
1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 17, 2013.
2.We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on May 17, 2013.
3.We started processing your application on July 22, 2013.
4.We sent you a notice on January 10, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 24, 2014 at 8:15 AM.
Hope to receive Oath very soon.
Gave test on Jan 24th 2014, have not received oath date as of yet. Most May 2013 applicants are getting oath calls much sooner. Should I be worried or is Hamilton a slow office? Anyone form May 2013 from Hamilton?

Every night in my dreams, I see a CIC test letter in mail box, that is how I know my application goes on.....You can submit an application one time, but it will last for a life time and never let go till we're Canadians....Quebec or Ontario where ever you are, I believe the applications does go on and on.........

I asked if they are waiting for any activities to be completed before scheduling? the agent said that there is nothing to do but to schedule me for an exam. Little bizarre. So ya. Back to the waiting game.
we did call to cic . n talked to cic agent. as i have applied for canadian citizenship application with my father n it was in the same envelope. due to which they said i have passed the written test n evrything is there. they didnot ask me for residentail questionnaire. but during the test date they have given residence questionare to my dad. they asked for time period that was very short for a month n asked to prove their residence for that period which was for one month. due to this reason, they have cased my file too with my dad n its non routine application. moreover they asked my father same thing that they have also passed the test .. at last they said that we will call u before 19 september 2014 because 3 years r getting done. cic agent asked if still they didnot send any answer prior to 19 september than again contact us. what u think of this case . kindly reply?
