How long is It taking to receive the CoPR after sending copy of passport through email? Does anyone know?

Varies, from 2-3 weeks till 2 months. Depends on the period and case...right now seems that things are going on the fast end though.

Hi, I am also still waiting for my MR (application was recieved by CIC on May 28th, 2012), I guess some cases take much longer, there is always a spread. One thing I am doing now is ordering the GCMS notes, it takes a month to get them, but at least you can have some information as to what is going on. It doesn't influence the process but gives you a little piece of mind. Otherwise, I guess we can only wait. Good luck, and hope you'll get some update soon. I had to submit PCCs sometime in November, so I understand that due to this my case could be a bit delayed compared to other May/June Applicants, so I am just patiently waiting.

Hi N.Calgary,

Based on your old posts, I see that you applied in late May 2012. Very soon you should be receiving your MR. I've seen some of May applicants are still waiting for MR. btw..I'm a late June applicant (pls see my timeline in the signature).

GCMS are just notes, that are generated while you case is in process.
You would be able to see what is going on with your case, like it was received, what stage is it in now, and so on
It will not speed it up, but you'll just have a bit of extra knowledge of where is it stuck, criminality or background check or something.
All in all, just keep your spirit up and good luck.

Hey guys, I got my PPR last week and I will be making a trip to Ottawa in early May for other purposes. Just wondering if it is possible for me to submit my passport in person to Ottawa while I'm there? Will I get my CoPR on that day itself? Thanks!

Mine says In Process.

We received your application for permanent residence on May 22, 2012.

We started processing your application on January 22, 2013.

That's all even though my medical results has been delivered on Feb 15, 2013.

Mine say in "In Process". And when I click the in process link, I see this.

We started processing your application on February 8, 2013.
Medical results have been received.

I don't know if this means medical received. I was expecting that the status should change from in process to medical received.

Kozmoj they might just forgot to update the e cas to Med received...
Mine exactly same as yours. Received May 22, starting processing Jan 22.
My med delivered on Mar 20 and the ecas shows medical result has been received on Apr 5.

IN PROCESS, WITHDRAWN and DECISION MADE.

IN PROCESS also have three statuses.
- Application received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
- Documentation Verified by CIC
- Medical Results Received by CIC

And DECISION MADE also have three statuses.
- An Interview May be Required
- Sopnsorship / In-Canada Application for Permanent Resident Status Determined
- Permanent Residence Status Determined.

I have printed out this information from CIC website. But, I couldn't find where it was now.

And Canadapost tracking results showed me my package has been delivered on that time.
But, I don't know where my results are at the moment.

Did you email CPP-O asking for the same qouting your file no?

Try tracking it, also most of DMP offices have the record of who recieved the package at CPP-O , ask the name of officer with your DMP who have recieved your package.

My DMP gave the name of person who signed it.

This information can help in tracking your medicals . All the best!!!!!!!

Some people who sent there medicals in 1st week of march are getting update on eCAS today!!!
