that's pretty fast. I am still waiting for my MR. Glad to see that process is so fast for some of may applicants.

Just an update...got the RPRF & biodata email today...
Just curious, I just glanced through the CIC email and it states that I am exempted from obtaining a visa to enter Canada so that I dont have to provide my original passport to finalize this PR app...

Does that mean I wont be getting a PPR later on?

But I dont think the e cas tells the most updated stories...as some are receiving PPR even with the e cas still showing in process...

Any opinions will be appreciated... Thanks

I just received an email from Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa that my application has been found eligible for CEC class. They also asked me to pay RPRF and fill out the biodata form, but no medical request yet. Anyone had the same experience? BTW, it was such a relief for me after a long wait.

Congratulations! Recently many people receive RPRF request first and medical request will arrive soon after.

Congratulations! that' s a good sign. Just wait and MR will follow.
I see that your case was 'in process' since Jan 18th. My status changed to 'In process' since Jan 11th, so hopefully I'll hear something soon as well.

Does this mean its approved and I'm just waiting on COPR letter. I paid my RPRF fee and emailed receipt, bio data form and copy of passport (visa exempt) on Feb 21st. Going on 7wks now and still no COPR letter.


We received your application for permanent residence on May 9, 2012.

We started processing your application on December 6, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

CIC requested for Biodata form and RPRF fee.email on April 11th along with status update saying that security and criminality check ongoing.. No PPR request... Driving me crazy.. How long are they gonna take

I just checked my tracking no. today. My passport was sent out yesterday evening and arriving today! So it takes about 3 weeks for my case. Passport reached Ottawa on March 26.

Based on your old posts, I see that you applied in late May 2012. Very soon you should be receiving your MR. I've seen some of May applicants are still waiting for MR. btw..I'm a late June applicant (pls see my timeline in the signature).

But GCMS request might help...

I applied for PR In May of 2012 and till date have not received a single email or document, I didn't even get an AOR from CIO or CPPO. I called CIC and was given a file number and when I emailed CIO Sydney, I was told that my files is transferred to CPPO. In my case, should I even request for GCSM notes? I read online that there is no point doing it if they haven't asked for you MR's.
I emailed CPPO last week and till date again no response.
Some help. Thank you.
