Hi Canadain.

yes i did send them an email a few weeks after i did my medical. i just wrote them a simple letter, stating my full name, Client ID#, date when i filed my application, and ask them directly whether they have received my medical or not. i believe there is no format that needs to be followed as long as you tell them your personal informations so they know how to identify you from their system

I honestly think that this "after convocation" work experience is not right. I personally had to wait 1 year to receive my diploma after I graduated. Finished classes in July, 2010 and got my diploma in June, 2011. Started working in January, 2011 until January, 2012. I guess this done deal as well. As long as it is written in the transcript that I finished ALL the classes towards my degree in July, 2010 why wouldn't that be enough?

It's seems funny to me to consider work experience after the convocation date.
My application rejected before Medical.

Here is the comment from visa officer:

`` under the post-graduation stream, an applicant must have acquired 12 months of full-time skilled work experience after having obtained a Canadian educational credential on the completion of a program of full time study. As your degree was conferred June 17, 2011, the qualifying period commenced on that date and you had attained only 8 months of skilled work experience when you submitted your application.

I decided to reapply under the new rule.

I just did sent an email saying that it has been almost 120 days (next Thursday) from getting my AOR, same as you.
Now lets wait and see if they are going to replay before 2013
