My application was received May 23rd 2012 but have not heard anything yet. My question is how does delay in getting the first AOR impacts the time required to get the PPR?

I am September 2012 applicant and received my AOR yesterday. But when i check the application status at cic.gc.ca using my File#, It doesn't show anything? How much time it takes to show the status at eCAS?

I emailed CIC 4 days ago regarding the status of my application and this is their reply

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your email.

If you are an applicant with a file being processed by this office:

We will contact you with further information once your file has been processed. Due to the high volume of correspondence received, we are unable to provide a status update to you at this time.

No further action is required by you at this time. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth, file number and your client ID number.

They encashed my check last June 1st and yet this is what i heard from them.No AOR until then..

They also cashed my check on June 1st. I did sent emailed to them on Sep 7 and they sent me almost same reply as your's on Sep 14. Afterward, they sent me an AOR on Sep 20. I know it's frustrating (I had been in the same situation)but Don't worry, you will get your AOR soon.

Hi guys ,,,some of them asking to get finger print from canadian RCMP but some of them are not ...why ...any one has any ideas plzzz ..

If they're asking for fingerprints just because of a name match (for example, if he/she has the same name as someone with a criminal record then CIC will ask to do a fingerprint-based RCMP clearance).

it has a number that starts with an E, my 6 years old stale application had a number that started with a B.
