5 months just for my sponsorship and others get their visas in that amount of time. It's the obvious inequity that bothers me. We just had our first visas issued from Manila VO for May applicants this last week. My ECAS still says application received. Certainly not getting my money's worth.

Uh-huh! I'm not so much concerned about "money's worth", and I don't care if SA's are now approved in ONE day, so long as their Stage 2's now don't surpass us '60 - 100 day and PLUS' "Stage 1'ers". Indeed, I will say that once you're at the point that you feel you should be "NEXT in line" for something, it sure is easy NOT to rush home and log-in here to see who else has jumped in front of you. I know, I know, I've been the one here saying "life is not fair" to others all along. I'd better go preach to a mirror!

I finally got my new visitors record in the mail today! I applied for the extension on Sept. 06 and it was approved on Nov. 27. They gave me until April 03, 2013, so 6 months after my previous one expired. Now I'm hoping that I will get COPR waaay before that.

I just got a email from London!!! This means they MUST have my file!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy shit!

They have requested that I send them a police report again. Not sure why since I did include the original in the initial application. Maybe that is expired now? Who knows.

Anyway, I am OVER THE MOON!

Need to get to a printer and a post office! BYE! x

Congrats!!! Something must have happened in the meantime, I'm sure. VO requested police certificate from my wife's country even though they had court certificate. The website now states that court certificate is not accepted, and I am positive that this portion didn't exist prior to May; the rules have changed, and lot of people got affected.
