As they say they need full details.
Even a few days trip.
I had to find the hotels and their addresses where I stayed 10 years ago!!!

Tonight I am going to triple check it and send it express first thing tomorrow morning.

PS: Don't know why they asked for these additional details. I checked again the copies of the application forms I sent them and I didn't find any missing thing. Who knows???

Hope this time we are going to be ok.

:P

Well well, Just checked my application online, and we're officially "in process" for the permanent resident application section. YAYYYYYY.

For whoever updates the spreadsheet, it says the began it on October 5th. We're former Buffalo VO, now Ottawa. Good luck to all....looks like things are moving.

Hi
I am fairly new to this forum so still figuring my way around it.
I sent my application in May 2012 to sponsor my husband.
The file is currently in the UK visa office.
I am wondering if it is advised to send any extra supporting documents at this point?
They have not asked me for anything, but I am just thinking if I send more proof that would make my case stronger?

Suggestions will be appreciated, thanks in advance :)

Not sure if there is anyone left still waiting on sponsorship approval but me.
Documents CIC lost or misplaced were sent again a month ago and still no movement on ECAS other than they have received my application. LOL.
Looks like I'm to the back of the line again.

If you want to send supporting documents now is the time, depending on when your file was sent to London it could possibly be too late. If for instance London received your file in early July then it could be in the processing stage. If you send any supporting evidence this late then make sure everything is photocopied and you can resend if requested by the VO. If you have more proof of course it will never harm your application but depending when London received your file it maybe a little late. It looks like London VO is starting to process files that were received in early July- mid July.

Good luck :D

It makes no sense to me whatsoever. I leave to see my wife in the Philippines on saturday for 3 weeks. I will just have to keep checking ECAS. If nothing happens by the time I get back then off to the MP again.

Thank you so much for helping me out :)
I sent my application on May 23, 2012 to the Mississauga office and then I received an email saying I met the requirements and the file has been sent to the UK visa office on July 17, 2012.
Over the summer I visited my husband and we traveled around Europe together. I have saved our boarding passes, tickets, and pictures from the summer.
Would they be of any help for my sponsorship application?
Thanks again :D
Good Luck to you too! :)

I'm so sorry. I was wondering what had happened to you! I really hope they sort this mess out soon. xo

Please update the May spreadsheet to reflect our VO as Ottawa.

Also, spoke with a call centre agent last week and it turns out there are no processing times for Ottawa. Because the office is so new, they won't be able to average out times until next year sometime. He recommended we just use another US visa office as a reference....lucky us!

hello everyone

i got some good news, this morning Oct 11, on ecas status change from "in process" to Decision Made" and they also updated my wife address to my canada address. but the only thing i dont understand is the canada address they updated only stated Edmonton, Alberta, Canada instead of my full Edmonton Canada address. Should i leave it that way or should i update it myself since there is an option for me to do so now?

just a recap, ppr on sept 28th, beijing vo recevied our pp on oct 2th, oct 11 decision made so 10 days in total ;D now we are waiting to receive my wife passport with the visa then we can start looking for plane tickets :)

also there's no email or mail for the decision made notice. Only stated on eCAS "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision"
