Hello everyone.. Can somebody please help me with some information about getting a police clearance from Saudi Arabia if you are not a resident there anymore and currently living in the Philippines. I have read some threads saying that the requirement for this has been waived but also some were saying VO are still asking for this as a requirement.. Thanks

i have similar situation my husband need the malay police clearance and i hear its very very hard to get. we just applied for it from the application on line and waiting for it 4 months now, no word from them yet.

Maybe you should call them and ask.. although they are usually quite snarky about things like info changes over the phone, even if they were the ones to get it wrong in the first place..

The problem is that we're not in Canada and if I understood correctly you can only call the number on their website if you're in Canada and if you filed your application from within Canada? Our visa office would be London and they don't take phone calls :/

Oh brother, gotta love it. I sent email to the address on the cic website and got an automated response saying they'll respond within 28 days

Steph C I was checking out the spreadsheet and noticed you just recently got your notice of approval. Was there a problem with your application or why did it take so long? I'm about to die from anxiety here, there has to be something wrong with my application!!

Update:

eCAS for 2nd stage is now In Process

"We started processing your application on September 10, 2012"

(Visa office - Paris)

On a side note, I have just mailed a package to them with more photos, proof of communication, pcc, etc.
Hope they get it within this week.

55 days since sponsor approval. 25 more days until I reach the average days for COPR. Come on!!!!!!!!!

Isn't the average COPR based on the only one's who have gotten it so far, aka New Dehli VO

Or is that based from past months?

I'm referring to the London Vo. That's where mine's being processed.

Not sure why he posted that in May's forum. He applied on March 30th. I was looking at the spreadsheet hoping somebody had got a COPR from May but alas he wasn't even a May applicant
