a happy update for me....my ecase shows DM! And my home address is in canada now!!!

that's great news!!!

they didn't ask you for your passport, right?
So, now you just wait to get your COPR!

Vienna process time 9 months. It gets you only 2 months and 12 days! NOT BAD!!!

Im visa exempt so ya i wait for COPR now. I never expected it that fast! I was so surprised, but my hubby said a few days before he had a feeling something good is coming, he had that feeling with the sponsor approval too, now hes right again lol
Im not even half way ready with all things i still have to do here >< but ya i guess i will fly early november and be there before my hubbys birthday in mid november

I asked you about PPR cause dkera is visa exempt too but Rome VO asked for his passport couple of days ago!
That was weird!

Anyway, it seems that you gonna give your husband the best gift he could ask next month!!!

oh no they didnt ask for the passport and my ecase went from just "application received, medical received" to right away "DM" and address change. And yea theres no better gift than that ^^ we were hoping for that, his first birthday that we spend together (we always visited us during summer times)

UPDATE!!!

I checked my ECAS today, Saturday morning.
I didn't wait for any update in the weekend. I checked more cause of a daily habit!
And there was my surprise!

My status is now IN PROCESS!

that's the message I had:

We started processing Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx's application on September 19, 2012

So, I am already counting 4 days of processing!!!

Now, the wonder is if I am going to have a PPR like dkera had from Rome's VO.
Still, no email or AOR from Rome!

That was a nice way to start my weekend!!!

we got in process within 24 hours. i got it friday morning you got it saturday early morning.

yours says started processing september 19 mine says started processing september 18.

The only WEIRD thing is I got the PPR (which i should not have gotten since I am visa exempt) in september 20, one day before I saw in process. and you no PPR.

Anyway i sent the passport. It's a two-year old passport with nothing stamped in it. I haven't been anywhere that required a VISA so the passport is empty.

I paid 150 euros to DHL (ouch) the package left greece yesterday evening, arrived in Bergamo, Italy yesterday night and today instead of going to Rome, DHL says it is in Leipzig, Germany.

HA HA HA!!!

You can always "trust" DHL!!!

By far the most unreliable courier!!!

Anyway, in Leipzig they have their headquarters. (in fact they almost own all the airport there!)

Normally, when something comes from a no-EU country it goes there and then they send it to the destination country.

When you send something from a EU country to another EU country, that goes directly!

Now, why they do what you said... there is no answer!

Just DHL rules!!!

Hope by Monday they'll have send it in Rome!!!

Hi there,

Was hoping somebody could give me some advice please.

I have just received an e-mail from the Rome office saying that they need my passport for the final review of my application for PR.

They said I need to send it within 30 days of the e-mail, the problem is I'm currently in Canada, returning home on the 18th June.

Do you know if it's possible to ask for an extension? I would just need 2 weeks or so.

Also the e-mail said that my visa would be ready before 5th December 2012. Does that mean they are going to keep my passport for 6 months?

I would appreciate any suggestions you guys may have. Thanks a million!

i just found out she posted on august 25 that she received her papers.

so from PPR to post about permanent papers that's 3 months.... more than i would hope.

too bad.

but there is also the issue about her stating that she wasn't ready to send the passport right away. so maybe she delayed sending it so it's not 3 months from passport until visa issuing.

Congrats to all who have rec'd great news!! Hopefully there will be more movement this week! I wish there was movement like New Delhi applicants!

I have checked the website and with my UCI number and my husbands status is still application rec'd since July!! This is getting soooo frustrating!
