hey guys..its been 22 days since my file has transferred, and no word yet...do you think my visa office received the file by now?...and is it being worked on, or sitting there gathering dust? What you all think?

hey, i recevied my sponsor approval on August 1st and also stated it has been forwarded to my VO. but it has been almost a month for me now without AOR or update on ECAS yet. i really hope they do update it so we atleast know what's going on.

sometimes VO gives AOR and sometimes not... even its 2months for me for my file transfer but no word. and ecas just says application received. so we all are in same boat. hope ...soon to get some news from the VO

Finally after 31days Quebec approved my husband to sponsor, I guess that's why it only took CIC 1day to review husband's application is because most of the review were being done by Quebec that's why I took that long, I am pretty sure Manila has my application already they're just waiting for Quebec's go signal thank God, now the real waiting game starts today... Goodluck and God bless to all of us still waiting...

I actually have to start over... as a September applicant... This has happened to others, but they usually get notified the same month, not me..

As for the FBI that is now expired.... I called CIC, they said that they suggest I send a letter explaining the situation with my package and it's up to the immigration officer if they will still accept the outdated fingerprints... at this point, I'm taking my chances because I'm not waiting another damn 2 months. But they did say that this is being treated as if they never got anything from me.... so most all is outdated. I'm taking the suggestion of those on the US outland thread and ordering a new FBI thing and sending the old one like that.

Well I now know why they haven't said anything to be despite saying they hadn't even opened my package...

Over 3 months wasted... I feel like I could cry. I don't want to wait another 2-3.

I have to wait on my mother-in-law to forward us the package (our permanent address is where it went) and us to resend it, then start the whole waiting game as September applicants. Does this mean all my 'proof' is outdated?

Also... I highly doubt my forms are old, the stupid immigration officer apparently doesn't know how to open the envelope the forms were in since I'm apparently missing all the forms needed for a sponsor stage. IDIOTS. I put a freaking key guide on the front of the envelope saying they were in there! I feel sick.

Is this seriously going to make my process ANOTHER 2-3 months later? This is a 5-6 month delay!!

Kiri, that SUCKS for you guys. At least September apps will be approved quicker, they have to be, application times are getting shorter. I'm so sorry to hear that, and after 3 months as well... a whole 1/4 of a year.

YEAH! The agent's vacay is 6-weeks in the Philippines!

I think all agents deserve this. I hope they all like cold water showers and fish heads Oh, and don't forget all-night Karaoke any time they try and get some rest! ??? I love the Philippines, but you have to be a real camper :

Some VOs send AOR but others don't. I did not receive AOR but I received a response to my inquiry. So I know it is somewhere in the VO. I assume currently it is gathering dust but hopefully soon they will open my package.

Well that's "awesome" news for us then, we have the same SA date as you so our application is sitting right next to yours . . . and gathering dust also. As to the biweekly email update suggestion posted, they would be too embarrassed at the number of emails sent basically saying 'sorry we haven't done anything in the last two weeks'. Finally, "yap" I'm a trooper . . . err . . . "camper".

Here's hoping!! Maybe I'll be super lucky and send it in at the very beginning and be approved before my birthday in October (the 6th), then it'd almost be no different than the long horrible wait for the May thing has been.

i saw the june 25 and am happy for all the people that won't wait so long. i think everybody's problem was the unfairness and the "bypassing" of people and not that the wait period is going down.


having said that i still have application received in ecas since august 8, no change at all..

I'm a newbie here, and really need help. my husby sent ours since May, 23 and fedEx said delivered & till date we haven't heard anything frm CIC-M. What do you suggest? and Call Center say, they don't see it

I understand only a few VO's send out AOR's, and the delay in updating ECAS is such that you get the 'letter' before you see any ECAS staus change. 50% of Rome cases are complete in 7 months; I'd give it 6 months of 'silence'.

They won't see it until they open it. It should be soon!
