I just use my 8 digit client id, Sponsor's first and last name (no middle name) and Sponsor's info.

Phulvir do you have aor or approval? You use the UCI# with sponsor information.....last name...date of birth and country......you use Application/File# with applicants information......last name....date of birth and country......hope this helps

It's a nice idea but personally I'd like to retain some privacy if possible! I bet CIC can tell who we all are already just by looking at the spreadsheet.

I agree. I think the destination doesn't matter. It's for confidentiality matters.

Totally agree on the privacy issues concerning including destination. My interest would be limited to (and perhaps this would narrow it down too much for those going there) but would be limited to results/timelines for those settling in Quebec vs those settling non-Quebec. Incidentally our application is "non-Quebec".

Some spreadsheets do it, some don't. Not everyone participates. I personally don't mind.. it's not like I'm naming the exact address, just the city/town I'm going to. And being in Southern Ontario in the greater Toronto area... good luck finding me anyway. lol

The receipt number doesn't work? Is this the imm number that they have on the list of numbers to choose? When we crossed the border, the immigration officer used the number to check his status.

Actually my agent forwarded me the PPR letter.......there was no AOR or sponsor approval .....moreover on my PPR the name written is of my sponsor wife's ......so m confused wats going on......will call my agent tomorrow to confirm whether its my PPR or some error .......hopefully its all true ......major worry is i am not able to login on my ecas using the various combinations ......

I just realised I have a client number printed on my study permit I was issued in 2010.... Will this be the same client id as I will be issued this time?

Prob not. I have an ID from an extension on a visa but they gave my sponsor a new ID for him and that is the one that works.

Friends, finally got my approval email this morning.... what a relief...really...
