Me the sponsored spouse? or my wife Sponsor? or my representative ( lawyer)

during the filing i didnt keep any letters given my friends that they are aware of our marriage. as i had enough pictures of our wedding
ceremony at church... is that okay?

I have one question on the marriage certificate..

My wife is a PR and all her family members got settled in Canada..

Our marriage was a typical Roman catholic wedding and we received our marriage certificate from the parish priest with witnesses name and both our parents name on it, to be precise a typical catholic church marriage certificate ( extract from the book of marriages in the church )

Both her father and mother came down to India with her to attend the wedding and all our family members attended our wedding ceremony and blessed our wedding... I have submitted all the wedding ceremony photos and also the reception photos while filing..

The question I have is, we submitted only the church marriage certificate with the supporting ceremony photos as a proof of our wedding...
is that certificate enough ? will that be considered as a marriage certificate or will the CIC ask for any other documents to prove our marriage
We have also given our outing photos, phone bills, photos we took during our family outings...

Have you looked at some volunteer work? It might be good way to kill time. Besides when it comes to the time when you are able to work, it would be easy to find a job if you have Canadian experience. Although you seem to come from "privileged" country, it probably won't hurt your resume! I've been sending my resumes but no responses ???. I'm stressed out not getting a job and stressed out our status not changing .

Unfortunately, his parents live in the middle of nowhere - 40 mins away from civilization

your representative will receive the approval....usually it is the sponsor but since you used a rep he/she will get

yes...if the marriage is considered legal and binding in India then it will be legal and binding here....did you send a notorized translated copy to cic????

Actually, it is an English version signed and sealed by the parish priest...
