    • I'm a little steamed right now >:(

      I just received back the package I had sent to CPC Mississauga. The letter said I was MISSING some forums on my application. I was NOT. I seemed that someone had riffled though my application quickly and hastily put the papers back together and mailed it back to me. I had intentionally kept my wife's IMM 008 and her personal info in a separate CLEAR FOLDER so that my sponsor docks would not get mixed with her sponsored docs. 2 of the listed missing docs were in there, I completed the CHECK LIST and sent all the papers. The other IMM1344 is there as well.

      It seems VERY clear to me that the person looking at the docks did NOT open her package.

      The letter states I'm missing the docs but I am not. I will call them tomorrow to find out if there could be another reason. The forums are filled out and completely signed.

      It seems to me someone did a rush job and sent me a PRE-FORMATTED response letter.

      I want to send my application back right away but I will call them first to get some answers (although I am not hopeful.

      This STINKS of lazy rushed work on the part of whom ever looked at my package.

      Has anyone else ran into a problem like this?

      I will likely try and file a complaint but I think it will go nowhere.

      The letter bellow;

      "Dear Sponsor,

      This letter refers to the application to sponsor a member of the family class which you submitted to this office. We are returning your UNPROCESSED application as we cannot process it as submitted.

      Regulation 10(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations sates that an application must be submitted using the forms provided by the Department, Only applications meeting R10 will be placed in the queue for processing.

      Your application is being returned to you, UNPROCESSED, for the following reason:

      As per Citizenship and Immigration Canada guidelines, Operational Bulletins 325B (February 6, 2012)
      and 226 (July 18,2011), applications received after March 31, 2012 must include the following forms:

      Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship agreement and undertaining IMM1344 02/2012);
      Generic Application form for Canada (IMM0008 02/2012); and
      Schedule A (IMM5669 07-2011) - as opposed to IMM008 Schedule 1 (if applicable)

      OLDER VERSIONS OF THESE FORMS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED. To determine the current forms please look for the IMM form number and issue date at the bottom left hand corner of the first page of each form (pictured bellow).

      The most current forms are available at (CIC Link)"

The IMM 008 and IMM5669 were all in the untouched clear folder. The forms are also properly dated with the most current version on the cic website where I did my application!!!!

IMM1344 is the 02/2012 version. The letter doesn't say if it was MISSING or the WRONG version because it is a formatted letter.

This is VERY VERY annoying.

they did that to me twice in 2005 a tthe Buffalo office, so I applied in 2006 from Lebanon (I was in the US in 2005) since I thought that was intentional to discourage me. If they accepted my application then I would be a citizen by now rather than waiting 6 years for nothing. Don't be an idiot like me and surrender keep sending it until they take it, don't let them screw you like they did me.

Our package was weighing 2 pounds. Took me 3 months to collect necessary paperwork... insanity rules.

but if you do the medicals before they ask for it, where do you send it? the doctor knows? Buffalo perhaps?

The doctor will ask you if you're applying inland or outland, and then he will send it away. In my case (we're applying Outland) to Ottawa, I believe. You will receive one of the medical pages to attach to your application so they canlater match the results of the medical exam with your application.

Right. You get a copy, doctor has a copy.. both have original stamped photograph. The one you send to your outland office (if you are, I am) is the copy which they match to the copy that is held at the center where they send these. They do not send them directly to immigration. They write down on your form what your satellite office is, and that's how they can match them up when CIC makes a request of medical.

It is actually smarter to do it prior to sending your application because if they have to request it, you go do it and send it in later on... well, it can delay processing by at least 2 months. I made sure to do it ALL (Every fee they'd require of me later, all background checks, medicals, etc) so that there would be no chance of delay.

It is very discouraging your situation, we are at the last stage of preparing for delivery the forms, and i was thinking to separate the forms of sponsor (my husband) and the forms of principal applicant, as you did. i do have a question the form Schedule A (IMM5669 07-2011) has to be filled only by me (Principal applicant), which i did, or it has to be filled also from the sponsor?, my husband didn't fill the schedule A.

In my opinion, you have to write a complain letter, even if it might go to nowhere. you never know, may be they made cross-checking and take in consideration complains, it might have happened before you never know.

wish you good luck,

We separated the sponsor and principal applicant forms into two envelopes, but we followed the order on the document checklist. I don't think separating the forms is the problem here. It would seem that whoever checked the package, didn't do a very good job....it's easier for them if you separate the forms so they know where to look if they want to check either or...

I put all mine in the same envelope with the document check list on top. The thing I did to let them know the order and what was in there was put a spread sheet on the front stating exactly what was in the folder and then put a copy of that spread sheet inside as well so there is a loose copy.

I actually did that for every folder I did. Put a spreadsheet taped to the folder listing in detail what was in it. Then each section inside had a spreadsheet outlining what it was (like each entry of bank statements and dates, or letters explination)

Hi bonitanita,

Would you please add me to the spreadsheet?
